
Stacy Katz is an Associate Professor and Open Resources Librarian-STEM Liaison at Lehman College, CUNY. Her research to date has focused on OER, particularly how librarians develop and support OER initiatives, faculty professional development in OER, and student views on OER. Ian McDermott is an associate professor and Coordinator of Library Instruction at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY. He serves as LaGuardia’s OER liaison and his research examines the intersection of open educational practice and critical pedagogy.

Elvis Bakaitis (they/them) is the Head of Reference at the CUNY Graduate Center. Since 2020, they have facilitated 11 cohorts of the popular Open Knowledge Fellowship, a 6-week program co-taught by GC Library faculty, with more than 200 participating doctoral and MA students to date. They organized a virtual OER Symposium in 2020 and co-organized the Critical Pedagogy Symposium in 2021.
